Home of the Free, Because of the Brave

Today, we remember all who served and gave their lives making the ultimate sacrifice while defending us and the freedoms we so often take for granted. We honor you; we remember you. And we pray for peace and strength for all of the husbands, wives, children, and families left behind. God Bless you all, and God Bless America.

As Lee Greenwood so aptly said, "And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free. And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me."

Always remember, never forget.

Thank You, Veterans!

Today, November 11th, we honor and salute those who have served, and those who continue to serve, our great country. Thank you seems insufficient yet our gratitude and thanks is what we can, and should, offer those who have served and/or are currently serving in our United States military. Thank you! We are forever in your debt.

Bless Our Veterans Prayer
Mighty God, thank you that you can satisfy our every desire and need. Hear our prayer of thanks for our veterans who made great sacrifices on our behalf. We ask that you would bless them and meet all their needs. We pray you would give them peace when they suffer from past trauma. We acknowledge the debt of gratitude that we owe them for the freedom of our country. Lord, bless them and keep them, make your face shine upon them. Turn your face towards them and give them peace. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Thank You, Veterans

Today, we celebrate and honor American veterans (and their families) for their sacrifice, their patriotism, and their willingness to serve our great country. Thank you does not begin to cover the debt for which we owe you. For those of you still serving, may God grant you peace, safety and strength.

God Bless Our Veterans

As we mark another Veteran's Day in a year filled with strife and pain, let us remember always those who fight or have fought for our country, for us and for all in which they believed. Let us not ever lose sight of what is important and let our words and actions reflect that always.

Thank you, Veterans (past, present and future), for your selfless dedication and service.  There are no words to reflect the appreciation for the great responsibility you bear.  Thank you!

Veteran’s Day Prayer
Dear Lord,
Today we honor our veterans,
worthy men and women
who gave their best
when they were called upon
to serve and protect their country.
We pray that you will bless them, Lord,
for their unselfish service
in the continual struggle
to preserve our freedoms, our safety,
and our country’s heritage, for all of us.
Bless them abundantly
for the hardships they faced,
for the sacrifices they made
for their many different contributions
to America’s victories
over tyranny and oppression.
We respect them, we thank them,
we honor them, we are proud of them,
and we pray that you will watch over
these special people
and bless them with peace and happiness.
In Jesus’ name we pray; Amen.

Have a Dream...

"I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream..I have a dream today."

As we remember and celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. today, dream big...dream of a world with endless possibilities, a world with everything at your disposal.  Go after your dreams and accomplish all.  The world is yours for the taking!
